    Hello! I'm an educator specialising in providing personalised services for children aged 4-16 years. I am passionate about helping learners reach their full potential.

    I am dedicated to unlocking each child's full potential by starting with their unique strengths and needs. I believe in nurturing foundational skills through high expectations and an engaging approach that integrates play and language. My goal is to cultivate confidence, curiosity, and competence, ensuring every child receives the personalised support they need to thrive academically and beyond. I teach through storytelling, discussions and context based questions.

    My previous projects have included setting up intergenerational connections between schools and care homes, to foster empathy and communication skills in children and reduce loneliness with the ageing population.

    Research

    My research primarily explored the mathematical cognition of young children (aged 4-5 years) and the critical role that executive functions play in this development. I investigated innovative strategies to enhance early years maths outcomes by fostering interactions between children and puppets. This approach aims to strengthen children's mathematical reasoning skills while reducing maths anxiety.
